• Our Curriculum
  • Our Curriculum Vision
Our curriculum covers the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework for the reception and nursery; and for children in Years 1 to 6 for the primary. In order to develop pupils with global perspective we are able to work a synergy between the British and the Nigerian Curriculum. The Curriculum is all the planned activities that the school organises in order to promote learning, personal growth and development. It includes not only the formal requirements of the National Curriculum, but also the range of additional opportunities that the school organises in order to enrich the experiences of our children. This includes an ever growing range of ‘Extra Curricular’ opportunities available to our children across all year groups. Our Curriculum also includes the ‘hidden curriculum’, or what our children learn from the way they are treated and expected to behave. Phostine Premium Schools aims to teach children how to grow into positive, responsible people, who can work and co-operate with others while developing knowledge and skills, so that they achieve all that they can.
We consult pupils, parents, staff and the school advisory board before developing our school curriculum which gave us a perspective of what Phostine Premium Schools curriculum should try to achieve. Our curriculum combines the benefits of two worlds-Nigeria national curriculum and British national curriculum. At Phostine Premium School we aim to inspire a love of learning and are committed to preparing each individual for life. Through a partnership of pupils, parents and staff and by providing a broad and balanced skills-based, creative curriculum, our school aims to nurture the child’s social, emotional, intellectual, physical and spiritual growth to help towards a greater understanding of the world we live in. Our aim is to ensure that through a range of practical and exploratory teaching and learning strategies and a relevant and creative curriculum, which encourages independent learning, each child achieves its own potential, becoming confident, successful and well-rounded people, who take pride in showcasing all of their achievements.

This is certainly not one of those schools being hoist every where in town. This is a well thought out dream and vision carefully executed supervised and being nurtured by the best hands in the field. Been there eagerly to criticize but shockingly, found nothing. More grease to your elbow.
